Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutrient gaps. Sublingual delivery skips the stomach upset that drives most people off iron supplements.

First strip with breakfast. Pair with vitamin C (orange juice, berries) for absorption — but skip the coffee for an hour.

When energy is low after a heavy cycle. Iron + Folate, no nausea, no horse pill.

Vegetarians and vegans absorb less iron from food. The strip closes the gap without animal sourcing.

Endurance athletes lose iron through sweat and impact. One strip a day, no GI distress.

Tin in the carry-on. Long flights, restaurant meals, missed nutrients — keep your iron up.

Tin on the desk. One strip with breakfast, one less reason to feel run down by 3pm.
No pills. No water. No metallic aftertaste. Here's what happens from tongue to bloodstream.
Place a strip on your tongue. No water needed, no swallowing required.
The pullulan strip melts into your saliva. Light raspberry flavor, no metallic aftertaste.
Iron and Folate enter your bloodstream sublingually — bypassing the stomach upset that derails most iron supplementation.
That's the whole routine. No glass to wash. No timer to set.
Find your solutionMost iron supplements are ferrous sulfate capsules — effective but rough on the stomach. Strips deliver Ferric Saccharate sublingually, gentler on absorption.

If you're researching at 1am, we're with you. Here are the questions we get most about Iron Strips.
Much less likely than a capsule. The most common reason people quit iron supplements is the GI side effects — nausea, constipation, stomach pain — caused by ferrous sulfate hitting the stomach lining. Iron Strips use Ferric Saccharate (a chelated form, gentler) and deliver sublingually, bypassing the stomach entirely. That doesn't guarantee zero side effects, but it removes the most common trigger.
It's 106% of the Daily Value (18mg). Standard iron supplements range from 18mg (one daily value) to 65mg (high-dose ferrous sulfate). 19mg is a moderate, replenishing dose suitable for most adults — not a megadose. If you have diagnosed iron-deficiency anemia, your doctor may prescribe higher doses.
No supplement provides instant iron repletion. Iron levels rise gradually as your body produces more red blood cells (typically 4–8 weeks for noticeable changes in fatigue or energy). Be consistent — one strip a day, every day — and trust the research. If you're severely anemic, see a doctor; supplements aren't a substitute for medical evaluation.
Check your multivitamin's iron content. Many already contain 9–18mg of iron, which combined with this strip could exceed the recommended upper limit (45mg/day for adults). Excessive iron is harmful long-term. If your multivitamin already has iron, talk to your doctor about whether you need additional supplementation.
All three reduce iron absorption when taken at the same time. Tannins in coffee and tea bind iron; calcium competes for absorption pathways. Take Iron Strips at least 1–2 hours away from coffee, tea, or calcium supplements (and dairy if you take a lot). Pair with vitamin C (orange juice, berries) for better absorption.
Iron and Folate are commonly recommended during pregnancy — but pregnancy supplementation should always be guided by your doctor. Don't start any new supplement during pregnancy without a healthcare provider's input, including ours.
Raspberry — light, real fruit flavor, sweetened with monk fruit and stevia. No metallic aftertaste — this is one of the biggest customer complaints with traditional iron supplements, and we worked hard to get rid of it.
Vegetarian, not strictly vegan. The strip base is plant-derived; the iron source (Ferric Saccharate) is sucrose-derived; vegan-suitable in most interpretations but we list it as vegetarian to be conservative. If strict vegan certification matters, contact us for sourcing details.
Keep out of reach of children. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Iron is one of the most dangerous supplements for accidental pediatric ingestion. Store the tin securely. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately (US: 1-800-222-1222).
Cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. Don't open the safety seal until you're ready to use the strips. Keep out of reach of children at all times — see safety warning above.
Iron-related fatigue improvements typically take 4–8 weeks of consistent supplementation — we'd suggest committing to one strip a day for at least 30 days before deciding. If you've stuck with it and aren't satisfied, email us and we'll work with you. Our 30-day return policy: full refund on unopened tins, partial refund if opened and contaminated, refund or replacement if damaged in transit. Full details at our refund policy. (If you suspect a deeper issue like anemia, please see a doctor — supplements aren't a substitute for medical care.)
Manufactured in India by a contract partner that specializes in pullulan-based oral strips. We chose them for their experience with sublingual formulation and their quality control standards. The facility operates under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification.
Each batch is tested by the manufacturer's QA process for purity, potency, and contamination. We're working on publishing third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation directly on this page — when available, you'll be able to download the current batch's lab results.
