From XYNE
How to Read the Sugar Line on a Gummy Vitamin Label
The front of a gummy jar is about flavor and color. The back is where the label tells you what you are actually eating. We read a lot of them before we chose a format of our own.
The calorie line is almost always there
Ninety eight in a hundred gummy supplement labels print a calorie figure.

A gummy is a sweet chewable, so its panel reads partly like a food label. That is not a judgement, just what the format is.
Sugar is a question people already ask
Three in five Americans say they are concerned about how much sugar they eat.
Source: IFIC 2025 Food & Health Survey, n = 3,000 US adults.
None of these figures is a measurement of a XYNE strip.
If that is you, the lines worth reading on any panel are Total Sugars and Added Sugars, and the Other Ingredients list underneath, where any sweeteners are named.
How to read the back of a jar
Start at the top of the panel. The serving size tells you how many pieces every number below it covers, and a serving can be more than one piece.
Then find Total Carbohydrate. Total Sugars sits indented beneath it, in grams per serving, and a line reading "Includes Added Sugars" can sit beneath that.
Last, read the other ingredients printed under the panel. They are listed by weight, heaviest first, so a sweetener near the front of that list makes up more of each serving than one near the end.
Read in that order, the sugar line is easy to find. For ours: No sugar.
What we did instead
We started with a different format. XYNE puts the dose on a thin film, about the size of a stamp, that goes on your tongue and is gone in about thirty seconds. There is no pill to swallow and no water needed.
- No sugar in any of our eleven formulas. Each is sweetened with stevia, and some also use monk fruit or sugar alcohols such as erythritol. Every panel names them.
- No proprietary blends. 35 actives, every one printed with its amount.
- Lab results published for every formula, the dose claimed beside the dose measured. Tested by the manufacturer's laboratory.
- Every ingredient in all eleven formulas is on one page, each active with its amount.
